So the last month has been pretty busy in terms of film making, so here’s the run down of what I’m been up to:
Here it is, the big one, the 8 film maker Zombie themed completely crazy Short Film Multi Battle.
Filmed at Cardiff Driving Range over 5 hours, 8 film makers and over 50 extras and other behind the scenes helpers came together to make 8 different films. By far the biggest production I’ve ever helped organise, the Zombie Short Film Multi Battle came together better than any of us expected.
7 of the 8 films made on the day were entered into the Newcastle Undead Society Zombie Short Film Festival, and every one of them made it in as finalists. On the night all of the awards were won by Short Film Battle films with Ryan Cox winning Best Film and $500 for his Mullet Allan: Zombie Hunter.
So strap in, because this one’s a doozy, and enjoy The Zombie Short Film Multi Battle.
The next short film battle is LIVE.
Two of the members from the local film production group Elevator 5 square off this week in a Memory battle. Birds (Josh Walkling) tries his hand at being a Dad while his daughter (my sister Chloe) is at home alone when 2 burglars break into her house in search of some long forgotten treasure. And Dhare’s film is about creepdancing or something. But I’m in it so atleast it’s got that going for it.
Also, I get yelled at by Birds alot…
Enjoy.
The fourth Short Film Battle is online NOW!
This time Sam must battle Pom (the other Ryan) in a High Society battle, with the mandatory object of an Air Compressor. The behind the scenes footage for this episode was unfortunately lost in a tragic Dondingalong formatting accident, but thankfully due to my ingenuity as an iPhone photographer, Sam’s incredible editing skills, and some interesting interviews, we have a great video for you all to enjoy.
So come join us in our class war against the High Society.
The next Short Film Battle is here!
This time band mates Braydon and Andy square off in a Time Travel battle.
It’s gunna be PARADOXICAL.
We just finished another fantastic SHORT FILM BATTLE last night with outstanding works from both of our film makers.
